NoyBi wins a huge gap

Well, as expected by all, though most people are trying to deny the fact that this tandem will surely pull it off, NoyBi team up apparently got the most number of votes in the recently concluded 2010 national election. Maybe these two has the enigma and charm that Pinoys crave specifically in the provinces or both has the luck, primordial luck that is, since they never lost on any election for the past decade. Honestly, I’m not pleased with the idea that opposing parties will run the country because of the anarchy that may ensue. I’m thinking of another Estrada-Arroyo conflict or a string of impeachment proceedings to be enacted. Well, all I can say is we must be more vigilant on the agenda and motives that these politicians have lest worse come to worst. A typical apathetic man would just say “Hell, I don’t care who will shit on the Malacañang’s chamber pot as long as I can eat three times a day” but a concerned individual surely prays “I hope whoever wins will never go back on his promises and do justice for this country”. Hah, let’s be frank here, are we really hoping for a brighter future for this country? How can we achieve it when at the back of our minds we are thinking that there is no, and I say no, hope for this land. If someone will tell me that what I assumed is not true then I will be glad to sit, have a caramel frappucino (as long as it’s not my treat) and discuss the matter revolving only on the volume of people taking nursing, caregiver and welder courses just for them to have work abroad. I will not mention, really there's no need, the crimes committed this election, the war raging in Mindanao, El Niño phenomenon versus tremendous flooding all throughout the year, rising oil and market prices, peso destabilization, corruption becoming a trend in politics and many other nasty things. Anyway, going back to NoyBi tandem making out (no pun intended) alive and snatching (again no pun intended…snicker) the top spots by a humongous amount of gap to their rivals, we can definitely say that this election is almost over and we’ll just be waiting for the Congress to convene and proclaim the victors. I hope there will be no more mud slinging after that...though a man can only hope. For now, I'm going back to work...code...debug...deploy... woohooo!!!
